Stays on your device

Generated, saved and checked passwords never leave your phone. There are no accounts and no cloud sync.

Encrypted at rest

Vault entries and history are encrypted with AES-256-GCM. The keys are held in the Android Keystore.

No analytics

The app contains no analytics or tracking SDK. The only third-party service is Google AdMob for ads.

    01Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how Super Password Generator (the “App”), developed by Mahesh Varma under JEWEALITY (“we”, “us”), handles information. It applies to the Android app available on Google Play and to this website.

By using the App you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App.

    02Information we do not collect

We do not operate servers that receive your passwords, vault entries, history, notes or settings. We do not ask you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, photos or browsing activity.

    • No account, sign-in or cloud synchronization.
    • No analytics, crash-reporting or behavioural tracking SDK in the App.
    • No sale or rental of personal data.

    03Data stored on your device

The App stores the following locally on your device only:

    • Generated passwords: the password currently on screen is held in memory and is not written to disk.
    • Vault entries (optional): the password, username, website and notes you choose to save. Passwords and these fields are encrypted with AES-256-GCM.
    • Generation history (optional): the last 50 generated passwords, stored encrypted. You can turn history off in Settings.
    • Preferences: theme, default length, haptic feedback, clipboard clearing delay, app lock and screenshot settings.
    • Vault metadata: entry titles, favourite flag, strength label and timestamps are stored in the local database. Titles and these metadata fields are not encrypted, so avoid putting secret information in a title.

Because all data lives on your device, losing the device or clearing the App’s data permanently removes your vault and history. We cannot recover them for you.

    04How we protect your data

    • Encryption: AES-256-GCM with a random 96-bit IV per record. The master key is generated inside the Android Keystore and cannot be exported.
    • App lock: optional fingerprint, face or device-credential lock with a timeout you choose.
    • Screenshot protection: optional “Block screenshots & hide in recents” for sensitive screens.
    • Clipboard clearing: copied passwords are cleared from the clipboard after the delay you select.
    • No cloud backup: automatic backup of app data is disabled, so your vault is not uploaded to Google Drive or other backups.

No system is perfectly secure. Keep your device updated, use a screen lock, and keep a secure backup of any password you cannot afford to lose.

    05Permissions we request

    PermissionWhy it is needed
INTERNETLoads advertisements from Google AdMob and opens links you tap (privacy policy, Play Store, email).
ACCESS_NETWORK_STATELets the App check whether a connection is available before requesting ads.
USE_BIOMETRICUnlocks the vault with your fingerprint or face, if you enable App lock.
VIBRATEProvides haptic feedback when you generate or copy, if you enable it.

The App does not request storage, contacts, location, camera, microphone or notification permissions.

    06Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version of the App shows advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob is operated by Google and may collect and use device and usage information to show ads, including an advertising identifier, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, and ad interaction data, in line with Google’s own privacy policy.

    • Banner ads appear on the Generate and Check screens.
    • Interstitial ads appear only at natural breaks, after you finish a task such as saving a password or closing History or Settings. They never appear on app launch, when you exit, while a password is revealed, or immediately after you tap Generate, Copy, Share or Save.
    • Consent: where required (for example in the EEA, UK and Switzerland), we show a consent form through Google’s User Messaging Platform before requesting personalised ads. No ad request is made until consent is handled.
    • Privacy options: you can change your ad consent any time from Settings → About & Legal → Privacy Options (shown where Google requires it).

You can also limit ad personalisation through your device settings (for example “Ads” or “Delete advertising ID” on Android). Google’s advertising policies are available on its website.

    07Third-party services

The only third-party service integrated in the App is Google AdMob (including Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google User Messaging Platform). Links to our website, Google Play and email open in your browser or mail app and are governed by those services’ own policies.

    08Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through an ad or contact request, please contact us so we can address it.

    09Data retention and deletion

    • Vault entries and history remain on your device until you delete them.
    • Delete a single entry from the Saved or History screens.
    • Clear everything with Settings → Data Management → Delete All Saved Data.
    • Uninstall the App to remove all of its data from your device.

Because we hold no copy of your data, deletion on your device is final. Ad-related data handled by Google is governed by Google’s policies.

    10Your choices and rights

Because we do not hold your personal data on our servers, you control it directly: you can view, edit, export by copying, or delete it inside the App at any time. You can also turn off history, change ad consent, enable or disable App lock and screenshot protection, and choose your clipboard clearing delay.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA, including access, correction and deletion of personal data. Since the App does not transmit personal data to us, most requests can be fulfilled on the device itself. For anything else, contact us using the details below.

    11Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App or the law changes. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change when we do, and material changes will be announced in the App or on this site. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
